Shiprocket’s initial public offering (IPO) worth ₹1,617.5 crore was subscribed 25.8 times as of 13:06 IST on the final day of bidding, according to BSE data. The issue received bids for 243.83 crore shares against 9.44 crore shares on offer. The IPO includes a fresh issue of shares worth up to ₹885.5 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) component of about ₹732 crore, inc42.com reported.

Demand accelerated across investor categories, with non-institutional investors (NIIs) leading the subscription at 50.27 times, placing bids for 130.73 crore shares against the 2.6 crore shares reserved for them. Within NIIs, bids above ₹10 lakh were subscribed 55.65 times, while bids between ₹2 lakh and ₹10 lakh were subscribed 39.49 times. Retail investors subscribed their quota 28.99 times by bidding for 50.26 crore shares against 1.73 crore shares reserved. The employee quota was subscribed 34.46 times, and qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) saw a sharp rise to 12.25 times subscription, up from 3% at the end of the second day.

Shiprocket’s IPO subscription marks a strong investor interest in the ecommerce enablement platform amid a competitive market for tech listings. The final-day surge contrasts with the second day’s 3.16 times overall subscription, when retail investors led demand at 9.7 times and NIIs at 4.8 times. The company’s IPO is among the notable tech public offerings this year, reflecting growing appetite for ecommerce-related businesses in India’s capital markets.

The IPO allotment is expected to be finalized on August 17, with shares scheduled to list on the NSE and BSE on August 19, inc42.com reported.
