Nua, a digital-first women’s wellness brand, raised $50 million in a Series C funding round led by Peak XV Partners and Filter Capital, the company announced on Monday. Existing investors Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures also participated. The fresh capital will be used to build the brand, expand distribution, and enhance research and development efforts.
The Series C round included a mix of primary capital and secondary transactions, allowing partial exits for investors such as Kae Capital, Lightbox VC, and angel investors. The Mumbai-based startup had previously raised about $3.9 million in a pre-Series C round led by Mirabilis Investment Trust in February 2025. With this latest round, Nua’s total funding has surpassed $65 million since its founding in 2017 by Ravi Ramachandran and Abhishek Ramanathan.
Nua offers a range of women’s wellness products across categories including period care, maternity care, skincare, and intimate care. Its portfolio features sanitary pads, cramp relief products, intimate washes, and period nutrition mixes. The company sells through its website and ecommerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Zepto, along with quick commerce channels. The funding will support Nua’s efforts to expand its product pipeline and distribution network in a growing femtech market.
Nua’s Series C funding round was finalized after initial talks to raise $20 million to $25 million, with the final amount increased due to secondary transactions. The company’s next milestone will be deploying the capital to scale operations and strengthen its market presence, as confirmed by the funding announcement on September 7.
