RentoMojo, the furniture and appliance rental startup, reported a 142% year-on-year increase in profit after tax (PAT) to ₹104.2 crore in fiscal year 2025-26 (FY26), up from ₹43.1 crore the previous year. The company’s operating revenue rose 45.5% to ₹387 crore during the same period, supported by a one-time tax credit of ₹36.6 crore, according to inc42.com.

Founded in 2014 by Geetansh Bamania and Ajay Nain, RentoMojo operates a subscription-based rental platform for home essentials. The startup’s EBITDA increased 38% to ₹163.5 crore in FY26, though its EBITDA margin slightly declined to 41.5% from 43.6% in FY25. The company filed its red herring prospectus as it prepares for an initial public offering. It currently operates 20 warehouses and 82 offline stores across 29 cities, with a portfolio of 850,000 products and 250,000 active users.

RentoMojo’s growth reflects rising demand for rental services in India’s furniture and appliance market. The startup’s gross items ordered increased 42.5% to 989,000 in FY26, while its product occupancy rate improved to 83.3%. Backed by investors including Accel, Chiratae Ventures, and Bain Capital, RentoMojo has raised over $45 million to date. The company’s performance positions it among notable players in the subscription rental sector ahead of its IPO.

The company’s total income, including other income of ₹7.1 crore, reached ₹394 crore in FY26. RentoMojo’s next major milestone will be its IPO, with the red herring prospectus filing marking a key step in the process, as reported by inc42.com.
