Healthcare supply chain startup DocPharma has raised $2 million (₹19 crore) in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Equentis, with participation from 100Unicorns, angel network Vinners, and other angel investors, the company confirmed. Founded in 2024 by Saquib Ali, Shashank Rai, and Sagar Chauhan, DocPharma plans to use the funds to expand its operations to 50 cities across India and establish 100 new licensed dark stores, according to inc42.com.
DocPharma operates a quick commerce supply chain network that supports healthcare businesses by providing backend infrastructure for healthcare platforms. Its proprietary platform, DocPharma One, integrates warehouse management, inventory intelligence, order management, and fulfillment operations. Each dark store stocks over 40,000 SKUs and is backed by an AI-driven, pharmacist-led compliance system. Shashank Rai said the company built its supply chain methodically, one licensed dark store at a time, enabling it to scale efficiently across multiple cities, inc42.com reported.
The startup’s network and SaaS platform allow pharmacies, health insurers, hospitals, D2C wellness and nutraceutical brands, and pet care businesses to fulfill healthcare orders within 30 minutes. This infrastructure eliminates the need for partner platforms to develop their own supply chains. DocPharma’s model addresses the growing demand for rapid delivery in healthcare, a sector where timely access to medicines and products is critical, inc42.com noted.
DocPharma currently operates in multiple cities and aims to expand its presence to 50 cities with 100 licensed dark stores using the fresh capital. The company’s focus on compliance and AI-driven supply chain management positions it to serve a broad range of healthcare clients efficiently, according to inc42.com.
